The journey of Isra 'Mi'raj: Witnessing the Greatness of God in the Seventh Heaven
Isra 'mi'raj journey places the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam in high position. A position that leads him to a degree with an abundance of enjoyment. The unseen things of the people are unknown to him. Allah Ta'ala says:
لقد رأى من آيات ربه الكبرى}
"Verily he has seen some of the greatest signs of his Lord." [Quran An-Najm: 18].
What are the unseen things and the signs of the greatness of God which he saw. Here's the explanation.
First: See Gabriel with its Original Forms
The appearance of Gabriel 'alaihissalam with its original form is one of the great signs of God's power. Rasulullah saw it. That night. On that holy journey. At the time of isra 'and mi'raj.
Usually, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam met Jibril in human form. He often comes in the form of Dihyah al-Kalbi radhiallahu 'anhu. The Messenger of Allah 'alaihi wa sallam said,
وإنه لجبريل عليه السلام نزل في صورة دحية الكلبي
"Surely he is Gabriel. He descended with the view of Dihyah al-Kalbi. "(Narrated by An-Nasai in Kitab al-Iman wa Syara'ihi, Shifatul Iman wal Islam (11722) confirmed al-Albani).
The arrival of Gabriel with human form, especially in the appearance of the Companions of the Prophet, is the way of God in maintaining the inner condition of the Prophet. Because humans will feel comfortable with humans. Psychic effects that arise when interacting with humans, will certainly be different from the interaction with the angels. A'ishah replied, 'It is actually Jibril' alaihissalam. Usually he came to see the Prophet in the figure of a man. But on that occasion, he met him with his original form covering the sky '. "(Narrated by Muslim in Book of Faith, 177).
The meeting of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam with Gabriel in its original form for the second time occurred on the side of Sidrataul Muntaha. Narrated by Ahmad from Abdullah bin Mas'ud with the true sanad, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
رأيت جبريل عند سدرة المنتهى, عليه ستمائة جناح, ينتثر من ريشه التهاويل: الدر والياقوت

ثم رفع لي البيت المعمور ". وفي رواية مسلم: "ثم رفع لي البيت المعمور, فقلت: يا جبريل ما هذا? قال: هذا البيت المعمور يدخله كل يوم سبعون ألف ملك, إذا خرجوا منه لم يعودوا فيه آخر ما عليهم

"If they have gone out of Jerusalem,
لقد رأى من آيات ربه الكبرى}
